My name is Mark Mcleod.  I am currently an art professor at Cleveland State Community College near Chattanooga, Tennessee.  In my former life I was a high school teacher and the curator for the Sumter County Gallery of Art in South Carolina.  I am also a sculptor who uses props and performance to create work which is then documented through digital photography and video.  In May 2006, I graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Syracuse University.  The ideologies behind various movements such as Fluxus, Happenings, and Performance Art, along with a considerable interest in perception and reality have come to form the major influences of my work.  Although most of what I do is a conceptual endeavor, accessibility is achieved through generous doses of humor.  Enjoy.
